Victor Dahhani
Tenor
Born into a family of musicians of Argentine descent, began singing at an early age in choirs conducted by his mother. He later pursued formal vocal training and refined his technique under the guidance of renowned masters. A graduate in lyric arts from the Hector Berlioz
Conservatory in Paris, he continued honing his vocal skills with Carlo Ciabrini and Christian Papis.
Between 2015 and 2020, he performed a variety of operatic roles, including Abu Hassan (Weber) at the Théâtre d’Herblay, Macduff in Macbeth (Verdi) at the Théâtre d’Abbeville, and Alfredo in La Traviata (Verdi) with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Sibiu,
Romania, under the baton of François-Robert Girolami. He also appeared as Tonio in La Fille du Régiment (Donizetti) and Don José in Carmen (Bizet).
He has appeared in recital under the direction of Philippe Fournier in Lyon, Andrei Chevtchouk with the Orchestre Universitaire de Picardie, and Iñaki Encina Oyón. Victor Dahhani was selected to participate in masterclasses led by Jean-Philippe Lafont at the
Opéra-Comique in Paris, at the Académie de Nice with Elizabeth Vidal and André Cognet, and, more recently, with Maestro Marcelo Álvarez at the Accademia di Torino in 2024.
Recognized as one of the promising tenors of his generation, he has been a finalist and laureate in numerous international competitions, including the Maria Callas Competition in Brescia (2022), the Concours International de Béziers (2022), and the Concours
International des Maîtres du Chant Français. In 2021, he was awarded First Prize in the Opera category at the Vienne en Voix Competition.
Among his recent engagements, he has performed Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore (Donizetti) at the Théâtre de Cauterets and Canio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo) at the Festival Opéra au Sommet. In 2022, he portrayed Radamès in Aida (Verdi) at the Opéra de Massy
and was later invited by the UNESCO Orchestra, conducted by Amine Kouider, to reprise the role at La Seine Musicale in Paris in 2023, followed by an international tour in China with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Paris under Sylvain Leclerc.
In 2025, he will appear in recital at Salle Gaveau with the Orchestre La Concorde, as well as at Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall and the Zhuhai Opera House. Future engagements include Don José in Carmen, the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Calaf in Turandot, a recording of operatic arias, and a South American tour.
