Askary Ayllin Sanaz
Soprano
A Bit About Askary
She graduated from the pre-university studies of the “George Enescu” National College
of Music in Bucharest and from the Bachelor’s program of the National University of Music
Bucharest, Faculty of Musical Interpretation. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree
under the guidance of Professor Dr. Fănel Ignat.
She has performed internationally at the “Osvaldo Chebello” Theatre (Cairo Montenotte,
Italy); Abbaye Royale (Celle-sur-Belle, France); the “Neli Bozhkova” Hall of Mirrors
(Dobrich, Bulgaria), as well as nationally, at the Maria Filotti Theatre (Brăila), the National
Opera Bucharest, the Radio Hall (Bucharest), the Democratic Forum of Germans (Sibiu),
the National Museum of Art (Bucharest), the “George Enescu” Museum (Sinaia), the
Ursuline Church (Sibiu), the Brediceanu House (Lugoj), among others.
She has also performed with several orchestras under the baton of conductors such as:
Gregory Vajda, Marco Zambelli and Cristian Sandu.
She has participated in numerous masterclasses led by internationally opera artists,
including soprano Adela Zaharia (2026), tenor Charles Castronovo (2022), conductor
Marco Zambelli (2022), soprano Leontina Văduva (2024), soprano Mariana Nicolesco
(2022), and baritone Sorin Coliban (2023).
Since 2024, she has been a member of the Experimental Studio for Musical
Performance Arts “Ludovic Spiess”, at National Opera Bucharest.
She is a prizewinner of several national competitions, such as: the First Prize at the “S.E
Aphrodite” International Music Competition (2026), Platinum Award at the “Mozart”
International Music Competition (2026), Special Prize at the National Vocal
Performance Competition “Crai Nou”, Brașov (2020); Second Prize at the National
Vocal Performance Competition “Stela Maris”, Constanța (2023); and Second Prize at
the National Vocal Performance Competition “Stela Maris”, Constanța (2024).
