A Bit About Chloé
Chloé Leruth began her musical journey by studying the piano at the age of 6, and entered Bordeaux
Conservatoire under Jean-Philippe Guillo to obtain her diploma. She discovered opera singing
there, entered later Maryse Castets' class and obtained her degree in June 2019. She continued her
training by participating in Masterclasses (Barbara Frittoli, Grace Bumbry, Patricia Petibon, Irène Kudela,
Anne Le Bozec, Martin Bruns, Damien Guillon).
Her musical projects are quite eclectic, navigating between medieval and Renaissance music (duo
Taléa), swing (Les Swing Cocottes) and even symphonic metal (Shondha band with whom she recorded
an eponymous album in 2024) while combining opera.
Recent competitions include 2025 La Marianne (2nd prize), 2024 Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg
(Masterclass), 5th International Swiss Competition (1st prize), 2023 Vienna International Music
Competition (2nd prize), 2022 Corsica Lirica (3rd prize & Special prize)
In September 2025, she interpreted the role of Ghost II in "Café Europa", a contemporary chamber opera
by Christoph Renhart, world premiered in Portugal, and resumed in Ossiach (Austria) in October 2025.
