Alessandra Marangon

Soprano

Alessandra is an Italian soprano.


After studying Opera Singing in her hometown of Padua, she specialized with a Master in Voice - Classical Music, at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, under the guidance of the dutch tenor Amand Hekkers. During her studies, she participated to masterclasses with Barbara Frittoli, Ramón Vargas, Nelly Miricioiu, Michael Chance, as well as opera studios and workshops with the stage directors Stefano Poda, Stefano Patarino, Pablo Maritano, Gianmaria Aliverta and Floris Visser.


Alessandra made her debut as a soloist in 2017 as Prima Conversa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica produced by Cantiere all’Opera and directed by Mara Zampieri at Teatro Barbarigo (Padova) and in 2019 as Annina in Verdi’s La Traviata produced by Figaro Opera Society (Venice). In 2025 she was La Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Sala dei Giganti, Padua).


She is currently active as a freelance soloist in the operatic repertoire (among the others, she is a soloist of the International Festival Puccini e La sua Lucca, Italy) but also in chamber music, as voice of Sablier Duo, a harp and voice duo with the harpist Maria Palma, and as voice of Helikon Duo, a piano and voice duo with the pianist Erwin Weerstra. She has been invited at domestic and international festivals such as Festiv’Alba (Italy), Celano Classica (Italy), Muziek op Zondag (The Netherlands), Buffer Fringe Festival (Cyprus).


Alessandra is a sought-after vocal coach: she has been collaborating with music schools, choirs and other institutions, such as the Haagse Kunstkring (for the Masterclass JongVocaal), the conservatories of Tillburg and The Hague in The Netherlands, and the University of Shijiazhuang in China (where she is guest professor at YUEDA College of Arts).


Beside this, she studied Tap Dance and Theatre, and she specialized in Ancient Greek Drama, performing in numerous productions in the Greek Theatre of Syracuse and in the archaeological site of Akrai for the National Institute of Ancient Drama (INDA).
