Carrie Tong is an experienced voice teacher and choir conductor. When studying in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) under the tuition of Yuki Yip and Margret Yim, Carrie has participated in the production of Purcell’s King Arthur, Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, Le Nozze di Figaro and The Magic Flute, Montiverdi’s The Coronation of Poppea, Britten’s Midsummer’s Night Dream, Bizet’s Carmen, Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen and Strauss’s Die Fledermaus.
Carrie is also a tutor of the Hong Kong Yip's Children Choir (YCC). Apart from teaching at YCC, Carrie has also performed as the leading roles of YCC Musical Productions, such as Susan in "The Musical Big" and Ariel in "The Little Mermaid".
After graduating from the HKAPA, Carrie has not only become a teacher of the HKAPA, but also tutors vocal classes in Mary Mount Secondary School and St. Paul’s Collage Primary School. She is also founder of the Vocal Training Centre Csing.
